Mumbai, Apr 10: The Digital Infrastructure Providers Association (DIPA), India’s apex industry body for digital infrastructure providers and a key stakeholder under the National Broadband Mission 2.0 (NBM 2.0) of the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), has onboarded Shaurrya Teleservices Private Limited as a new member, further strengthening its engagement with emerging digital infrastructure providers.
With Shaurrya’s onboarding, DIPA sharpens its focus on two critical pillars of India’s next-generation connectivity architecture: Optical Fibre Cable (OFC) infrastructure, which forms the backbone of high-speed broadband and rural last-mile connectivity, and In-Building Solutions (IBS), which are essential to delivering seamless indoor coverage as India builds its 5G ecosystem and lays the groundwork for a future-ready 6G technology stack.
Founded in 2021 and headquartered in Gurugram, Shaurrya Teleservices is a Category I Infrastructure Provider offering end-to-end solutions across telecom tower deployment, In-Building Solutions (IBS), Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH), Internet of Things (IoT), AI-enabled network platforms, SD-WAN, and Network-as-a-Service (NaaS). The company serves enterprise and infrastructure customers and has established working partnerships with leading operators including Bharti Airtel, Vodafone Idea, Reliance Jio, and BSNL, as well as most major ISPs. The company is led by Mr. Pankaj Agrawal, Chairman, a veteran finance leader who concurrently serves as Chairman of Signature Growth Capital. Strategic tie-ups with organisations such as Anant Raj Limited, Vikram Solar, and IndoSpace position Shaurrya at the intersection of digital connectivity, green energy, and industrial infrastructure.
Manoj Kumar Singh, Director General, Digital Infrastructure Providers Association (DIPA) said, “We are pleased to have Shaurrya Teleservices join DIPA. Their focus on OFC and IBS infrastructure development aligns closely with our vision of strengthening India’s digital connectivity ecosystem. DIPA will continue to advocate for policies that enable every segment of digital infrastructure — from established tower companies to agile, innovative players — to contribute to India’s digital transformation and the broader Viksit Bharat agenda.”
Pankaj Agrawal, Chairman, Shaurrya Teleservices said, “We are delighted to join DIPA at a time when the digital infrastructure ecosystem in India is evolving rapidly. At Shaurrya, our focus is on building scalable and future-ready connectivity solutions. We believe that collaboration with DIPA will enable us to actively contribute to policy advocacy and support the development of a robust and inclusive digital infrastructure framework.”
The membership comes at a defining moment for Indian telecom infrastructure. India currently has 8.53 lakh mobile towers, supported by approximately 3.21 million base transceiver stations (BTS) deployed across the country, as the nation accelerates its push toward universal broadband access and 5G saturation.
India’s infrastructure reality is rapidly converging — digital, energy, and mobility networks are no longer separate verticals but interdependent foundations of a modern economy. DIPA is positioned at the centre of this convergence, advancing the 5G rollout, enabling cross-sectoral infrastructure horizons, and building the policy framework that will carry India toward the vision of Viksit Bharat. The onboarding of Shaurrya Teleservices reinforces DIPA’s commitment to bringing innovation-driven companies into its advocacy framework alongside established infrastructure majors.
